AI Assistify requires API keys to access various pre-built AI models (such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude). These keys must be entered before using an AI model, and the system operates on a pay-as-you-use basis, ensuring transparency and control over API costs.

🔹 How to Enter an API Key
Users must enter API keys before using an AI model. There are two ways to add an API key:
✅ Option 1: Enter API Key During Chat
When selecting an AI model that requires an API key, a modal will prompt you to enter your key.
Copy and paste your API key from your AI provider's dashboard.
Click Save to securely store your key.
Your AI model will now be activated and ready for use.
✅ Option 2: Enter API Keys from Settings
Navigate to Settings → API Keys.
Find the AI provider you want to add a key for (OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, etc.).
Click on the input field and paste your API key.
Click Securely Save Keys to encrypt and store them locally.
🔹 Managing & Updating API Keys
Users can update or remove API keys at any time from Settings → API Keys.
If an API key is invalid or expires, AI Assistify will prompt the user to enter a new valid key.
